Denaun Porter reviews the new Miko keyboard at th Open Labs booth.

Legendary producer Denaun Porter a.k.a. Mr. Porter, gave a performance and demonstration at the Open Labs booth during the Winter NAMM Show, 2009. Porter produced Bangaz!  He has made records with F.T.(Fuc That), Snoop Dogg, Method Man, Dr.Dre, Pharaohe Monch, The Game,  Xzibit,  Eminem,  50 Cent, Little Brother, Jay Electronica, Young Buc, Royce Da 5,9 , Rakim, and many others. Porter explains how he uses his Open Labs gear, and why Open Labs is the new standard. Mr. Porter’s personal sound library is available in the Open Labs Gen5 MiKo LXD, NeKo LX-5 and NeKo XXL. Me being a producer my self took this information as inspiration. So i figure why not share it with the people.

Neurologist- Black Masks featuring Smooth da hustler,Shabaam Sadeeq, and F.T.(Fuc-That)

This song is definitley a hip hop diamond in the rough. I recorded this song in Queens New York. The song is produced by Nuerolgist. One of the most talented producers i ever worked with. His sound is that real raw, break beat, tough snare head banga sound. Definitley a name you gonna start hearing alot. This track also features Smooth Da Hustler. A hip hop legend, and another talented artist who is also a hip hop legend Shabaam Sadeeq. This song is called Black Mask. Leave a comment and tell me what you think?

World is a ghetto

I made this song in 2004.
A couple months after the deal with New Line Records was done.

I got a call from these producers from some where overseas called, Get Large.
They threw me on a record with Ghost Face for this project they where working on. To make long story short. They gave me a beat cd with 25 beats.

I picked two,and this was one of them. I actually free-styled this whole song off the top of my head. I recorded it in my crib on pro tools. Then we recorded it again at Power Play studio in Queens. We got great feed back. So they decide to do a video for it.

I was not pleased with the quality of the video. I felt and thought it would clear and crispy.

What i do like about it though ,is that it’s very raw.
We filmed it in East New York, Brooklyn right in my old neighbor hood. This is another record that is considered a classic!
