Tanya Morgan consists of Donwill, Ilyas, and Von Pea. In this paticular picuture It’s only two of them in it. I took this in Brooklyn, while I was recording Push Radio. Donwill and Ilyas are from Cincinnati Ohio. Von Pea is from Brooklyn, New York. If you have not heard of them, I garuntee you will in the months to come. Most recently Tanya Morgan has recorded the hip hop “Classic” Brooklynati. The album is hot! It actually coincides with a multi-media project released on Interdependent Media. Freddie Gibbs meets StandOut FT
This dude right here, is definitley an artist to look for in 2010. His name is Freddie Gibbs. He’s from Gary, Indiana. From what I understand it’s not to far from Chicago. Two years ago, Gibbs was signed to Interscope Records. Home of Aftermath, and Shady Records. Some of the tracks he recorded in his time at Interscope ,are on The Miseducation of Freddie Gibbs. Which is definitley tearing up the streets right now! With production by Jus Blaze, Polow Da Don, Hosted by Dj Skee. I caught up with him at the studio the other night. New Era fitted interviews Spike Lee.
New Era the world famous fitted hat company, interviews legendary director Spike Lee. The interview takes place on a cold winter, day in New York City. On this day Spike is shooting a commercial for New Era. The commercial includes eight major leauge base ball players. In the commercial, the players sleep over night in front of a New Era store. In hopes to be the first ones with the new design hat. I thought it was cool that New Era hired Spike Lee for this. Why? Fitted hats are a major part of the hip hop culture,and Spike Lee is one of the best directors ever. Grand Theft Auto – China Town Wars – StandOut FT Freestyle
This is ill to me,I had alot of fun making this. I recorded it at my studio. This is a three part freestyle, inspired by one of the hottest video games ever. Grand Theft Auto China Town Wars. The beats were produced by Dj Kahlil. When I played the game i heard the music,and i was amazed by the production. The game series alone is a “Classic” and one of my favorite of all time.
